My name is David Huth. I have lived in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri for twenty-some years where I have worked as a graphic artist. In 2012 I made a decision to move from the suburbs to the edge of the wilderness and focus on creating paintings of landscapes and wildlife that inspires me. My new home is in Ely, Minnesota, a small town in the northeastern part of the state, close to the Canadian border. I’m publishing this blog to share my experiences and my paintings.

I am Donna Byerly’s sister and would like to follow your blog.
Hi Pam! Welcome! You should see a “Follow” button on my blog. Click on that and you’ll be asked to provide your email address. You’ll get an email whenever I post something new. Tell Donna I said hello!
I have a large painting, probably more than 10 years old, signed David H, but I’m not sure if it’s you or not. It is of a lighthouse on a beach next to a house.
It does not sound like mine. I don’t recall painting a lighthouse.
I have what looks like a pencil drawing of a egret on a twig looking to eat a frog signed David J. Huth ’81. I hope it is yours I love it!!
Sally, I believe that is mine. I’d be curious to know where you got it. I gave a bunch of those away some years back. My blog has actually been shut down but I guess some people are still finding it. Not sure how that works. You can email me directly at davidjhuth@gmail.com.
